Learning to listen with a hearing aid or cochlear implant is a rewarding journey that takes patience, perseverance, and a positive attitude.
In addition to the supportive HearingJourney online community, AB also provides The Listening Room, a one-of-a-kind online resource that gives you a foundation of interactive, uniquely designed practice activities to improve listening skills so that communicating with others is a successful experience. The fun, helpful, no-cost exercises in English can be done alone; with a therapist, parent, or listening coach; on paper; or with an MP3 player.

Join AB’s HearingJourney to participate in the online community’s weekly web chat. Slated for Thursday nights at 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. PST (7:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. EST), these chats give you the opportunity to ask questions, share stories, and speak with recipients in real time.
