  • Brief budget outlining proposed designation of funds solicited

  • Draft Research Agreement, if available
  • For AB-initiated or directed research involving AB products, such as feasibility and R&T, please provide a brief summary outlining proposed designation of funds or products solicited from AB and well-defined objectives and milestones

Request for Research Grant Proposals

Advanced Bionics seeks proposals for research that will target one of the following areas:

  • Cochlear implant performance
  • Variability of outcomes with cochlear implants
  • Cochlear implants and music listening
  • Fitting and evaluation of cochlear implants

In addition to these topics, we also invite general research proposals on related areas of study.

 

Review Process

Proposals will be evaluated by a team of scientists, engineers, and clinicians on an on-going basis. The proposals will be evaluated based upon:

  • Scientific rigor
  • Clinical applicability
  • Alignment with current and future technology

 

Grants

Grants awarded by Advanced Bionics grants committee may take on a variety of forms including:

  • Student and/or research assistant sponsorships
  • Study support
  • Research equipment

For funded studies, Advanced Bionics will regularly follow up with the investigator(s) to review progress of the study.
