With AB, you can feel confident that you’re getting the best care available. Your surgery will be done in a UK hospital that is fully equipped with the latest cochlear implant technology and staffed by experts.

Your implant programming sessions will use the latest evidence based fitting and testing methods to make sure you get a comprehensive evaluation of the benefits of your AB device. We work hard to ensure you get the most from your hearing.

To get the most from your cochlear implant, hearing therapy is important. A rehabilitation care plan gives you a personalized approach to using your implant and improving your listening and language skills.

Your care will start as soon as you are ready, we are not restricted by waiting times. 

Appointment times are scheduled at times convenient to you and each session is tailored to your individual needs. Appointments take place in a relaxed atmosphere and each appointment can last up to two hours.

During the first year, you could expect to attend up to 8 audiological appointments including programming and progress assessments and up to 8 rehabilitation sessions.

AB provides a full range of aftercare plans to ensure you receive outstanding ongoing support.

You’ll have access to our Private Partnering Support Service, designed to give you peace of mind. This service ensures that any AB accessories are replaced quickly and conveniently if they develop a fault, even after the standard warranty period has ended.
